For quite a while now there has been an event (mostly in the USA only so far) where Podcasters can goto an event lasting usually 2 days and learn new skills and techniques to improve their shows. This event is called Podcamp. (http://podcamp.pbwiki.com/).
Yesterday at the Podcasters Meetup when Uncle Seth was playing it was announced that there will be a Podcamp event in Second Life. I think this is a brilliant idea as it gives people who are unable to attend such an event due to their location but still can attend through the magic of Second Life.
